I'm not being rude in the title of this picture. This photo is actually from a sign hanging at the Peter Pan ride at Disneyland. Apparently it means "you need to leave your wheelchair to ride this ride."
On a more dilated scale, I'm always on the hunt for usability and accessibility features that backfire. Just think of so many flash websites, or how much trouble you were embarrassed to admit you had when you got your first iPod (and none of your friends could help you either.) Watching (and owning) Super Size Me did less to scare me away from McDonalds permanently than me not being able to figure out their new menus, (Now Without Words!) It's not just me--I always have to ask the cashiers at fast food joints how much something costs or whether they still sell ______, and they can never figure out how to demonstrate it to me either. "A Burger? It's $6.95." "No, I mean without the drink, the fries, and the UberSize?" "Uh, lemme get my manager."
